I’m so glad I got connected to you Cathy, and got to know you a bit this year. I’m looking forward to more of that in 2025. Happy holidays to you and yours!
Thank you Cathy! I am reminiscing a lot about past years when my children (now 43,40 and 36!) were creating moments that could not be missed! One memory is my youngest at age 5, standing behind me on our church platform- dressed as a shepherd. I was singing a very beautiful serious song on Christmas Eve. I couldn’t understand why the congregation had smiles , then laughter while I sang. Did I have broccoli in my teeth, was my skirt tucked into my pantyhose?
Later I learned that C was imitating my singing style- moving his head and serious facial expressions! His grandmother gave him a little mouse Shepherd ornament that year! It was a performance that couldn’t be missed!
Thanks for helping me remember!
Merry Christmas! I look forward to your brilliant insights in 2025! 🤗🎄
Excellent awesome thought about writers being like Santa, being there for readers of all ages just at the right time showing us the gifts and blessings we might forget continually exist, helping all of us to be of good cheers!
Merry Christmas my beautiful friend and partner in co-creative crime for 20 years. May this year be filled with the long list of all things worthy of slow sippin’.
Beautiful!
